Ele havia ido a um hospital em Riade na sexta-feira para exames médicos e saiu no mesmo dia.
A emissora publicou um vídeo datado de 20 de janeiro mostrando o monarca lendo documentos com os ministros.
Na reunião, Salman saudita deu as boas-vindas à criação da Board of Peace, anunciada pelo presidente dos EUA, Donald Trump.
O rei já recebeu tratamento médico em 2024 por inflamação nos pulmões.

Saudi Arabia’s 90-year-old King Salman presiding in person over a cabinet meeting on Tuesday, days after leaving hospital where he was subjected to medical tests, according to state television.

The footage, published by Saudi TV and dated January 20, shows the monarch chairing the meeting and reviewing documents with his ministers. Reuters was not able to independently verify the video.

In the session, the king reportedly welcomed the establishment of the Board of Peace proposed by the United States, as reported by the state news agency.

King Salman has previously received medical care for lung inflammation in 2024, situating this week’s public appearance within a long-standing pattern of health checks reported by state media.
